Behavioral Health Referrals
Who Can Make Referrals?
Patients may self-refer or be referred by their primary care provider to an In-Network Pathways Behavioral Health Network Provider.
Prior Authorization
Pathways providers will be responsible for submitting prior authorization request for initial and subsequent referrals. Providers must secure prior authorization before treating members. All prior authorization request must be submitted online.
Out of network provider request for authorization are not accepted. Care must be coordinated by an In-network Provider. In-Network Providers can log onto GuideHealth for additional information on services that require prior authorization.
